LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! Good for Tony. That's what it's all about.
Jesus just keeps putting opportunities for me to share with people in the 12-Step programs I belong to. I can't directly share about Christ, unless I find out they are a Christian, but I share HIS love and give them hope through the knowledge and experience of the BB of Alcoholics Anonymous (for eating issues) and through Al-Anon literature.
Joyously, people have asked me if I'm a Christian by the joy in my voice, my gentleness (meek and gentle spirit that I strive for), woo too!
And then there's my dear husband, John, gotta love, love, love him. I'm truly blessed to have that man as my soulmate in Christ. God sure knew what HE was doing when HE freaked me out soon after John and I met when I went to HIM and asked HIM if John was the one HE wanted me to marry.
Gratefully I've had many an experience like that ever since.

Lovely, just lovely, today's devotion on our weaknesses. Satan has relentlessly focused me on mine the last 24 hours! I woke up today, even after making the sign of the cross on the forehead and the breast, back at it. Your gift of encouraging the weary with words is consistently, compassionately delivered through faithful citing and application of The Word!
I especially appreciated this bit. "Hindrances, handicaps and hurdles are God's gifts to the self-sufficient! While He won't allow you to use your weakness as a crutch or a cop-out, He'll allow it to keep you dependent on Him." Amen, brother!
May the Evil One be kept at bay, by God's grace, as you diligently search for ways to connect the limping human race with The Living God Who runs the race with us and has won it at the finish line! Reply to this

The truth is a straight story. You pretty much tell everyone the same thing... there are not 8-20 versions.
A lie is a web of twists and turns and versions that keeps getting more complicated and "knottier" and "morphing" into new narratives that are harder to maintain and remember.
When you tell the truth you don't have to expend nearly as much time and energy remembering who you said what to when and under what circumstances... and who else was around and who they might talk to and share with. You just need to show a little grace and discretion in how much you say and to whom you say it. Reply to this

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that you guide and protect us today as our nation votes. Let us know that it is not one person that controls our fate but your hand that guides us. I pray that you be with everyone and keep them safe no matter the outcome, and let us fix our eyes upon you... for we know that you have great plans for us.
