Take Action - Now!

snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear - hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh. Jude 1:23

When someone you love gets caught up in a situation that has the power to hurt or destroy them, what should you do? Jude says, 'And others save with fear.' This word save is taken from a Greek word, meaning, 'to take immediate, decisive and continuous action.' The word fear is also taken from a Greek word, meaning 'a strong dose of respect for something that is life-threatening, dangerous or alarming.' Jude lets us know those who continue to disobey God, place themselves in a dangerous position. This is no game. Therefore he commands us to act immediately. This places a heavy responsibility on us to do whatever we can to bring the misguided or rebellious one back to the place of safety. We do not have a choice; we must act fast, act deliberately and be continuous and unending in our efforts until we are certain that they are back in safe territory again.

So, the word for you today is, 'take action - now!' The consequences are too serious to ignore. You must pray for wisdom then do everything within your power to rescue the one who's caught in a web of deceit, and do it as quickly as possible. Why not pray this prayer?

Prayer
Lord, help me to know exactly what to say and do. Give me Your heart, Your wisdom and Your boldness to say what needs to be said. Help me to love them enough to speak the truth to them. Use me as an instrument of grace to reach them as soon as possible. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

How amazing is that, thank you Tim again for your amazing insight in the good Lords want for us. It's Jesus who would do exactly that, and only us who truly do as He, are truly Him. God Bless.
