Ever feel out of place at work? In your family? With your friends? That could be a good thing. If that feeling of being out of place is because those around you just don’t ‘get’ you. That could be a good thing. If they don’t ‘get’ you because you…’love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,’ or ‘if anyone forces you to go one mile with them, you go with them two,’ that means you’re living in a way the world just doesn’t get.

As children of God with Christ as our brother our everyday interactions with others are so different that we look out of place. Unconditional love, serving others, seeking justice, giving sacrificially and living in a peace that passes understanding catches those who don’t know Jesus off guard.
