"But Lord," Gideon asked, "how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family." The LORD answered, "I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites together." Judges 6:15-16

For every battle God has a strategy, so stop praying about the problem and start praying for the strategy. The vision will always be greater than the one who is called to fulfill it. The Psalmist said, 'Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it' (Psalm 127:1). Jesus is a carpenter; He knows the weight-load you can handle, the materials required and how it will all fit together in your life. Could it be that He has already been speaking in your head for months? Has He been revealing His plan to you, but you have been afraid to act on it? Stop collecting opinions and get alone with Him. Shut the door and wait in His presence until you receive a 'clear word'.

Remember, if God is giving you blueprints, then you are about to go under construction. That means getting 'hammered' and 'nailed'. It is not enough to be called; you have to be equipped. But do not be discouraged, the God who landscaped the Earth has already designed every detail of your future. Just step out and follow Him. You are built for it; you are designed to handle the pressure.

The One who said to Gideon, 'Surely I will be with thee,' is saying the same thing to you today.

Heavenly Father, help me start building what you have designed and equipped me to do! In Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen
