Tapping In

“I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me faithful, appointing me to his service.”
1Timothy 1:12

Where do you go to find strength? The gym? The health food store? The espresso bar? There’s a better source of strength, of course, and that source is God. He is a never-ending source of strength and courage if you call upon Him.

Are you an energized follower of Jesus Christ? I hope that you are. But if you’re not, I encourage you to seek strength and renewal from the source that will never fail: that source, of course, is your Heavenly Father. And rest assured – when you sincerely petition Him, He will give you all the strength you need to live victoriously for Him.

Have you “tapped in” to the power of God? Have you turned you life and your heart over to Him, or are you muddling along under your own power? The answer to this question will determine the quality of your life here on earth. So start tapping in – and remember that when it comes to strength, God is the Ultimate Source.

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, You have the power to make all things new. When I grow weary, help me turn my thoughts and my prayers to You. When I am discouraged, restore my faith in You. When I am weak, renew my strength and empower me to draw comfort and courage from Your promises and from Your unending love. I pray this in Jesus’ Name. Amen
