His Gift, Freely Given

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”
Romans 3:23-24

Romans 3:23 reminds us that all of us fall short of the glory of God. Yet despite our imperfections and despite our shortcomings God sent His Son so that we might be redeemed from our sins. In doing so, our Heavenly Father demonstrated His infinite mercy and His infinite love.

Christ scarified His life on the cross so that we might have eternal life. This gift, freely given from God’s only begotten Son, is the priceless possession of everyone who trusts Him as their Lord and Savior. We return our Savior’s love by welcoming Him into our hearts and sharing His message and His love.

We have received countless gifts from God, but none can compare with the gift of salvation. God’s grace is the ultimate gift, and we owe Him the ultimate in thanksgiving. Let us praise the Creator for His priceless gift, and let us share the Good News with our families, with our friends, and with the world on this Easter Sunday and everyday that follows.

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, You have offered Your grace freely though Jesus Christ. I thank and praise You for that priceless gift. Empower me this Easter Sunday and everyday that follows to share the good news of Your Son with a world that desperately needs His peace, His mercy, His love, and His salvation. I pray this in Jesus’ Name. Amen
