Our Hope Is Found In Jesus

“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain.”
Hebrews 6:19

There are few sadder sights on earth than the sight of a man or woman who has lost all hope. In difficult times, hope can be elusive, but those who place their faith in God’s promises need never lose it. After all, God is good; His love endures; He has promised His children the gift of eternal life. And, God keeps His promises.

Despite God’s promises, despite Christ’s love and despite our countless blessings, we humans can still lose hope from time to time. When we do, we need the encouragement of our brothers and sisters in Christ, the life-changing power of prayer, and the healing truth of God’s Holy Word.

If you find yourself falling into the spiritual traps of worry and discouragement, seek the healing touch of Jesus and the encouraging words of fellow believers. If you find a friend in need, remind him or her of the peace that is found through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It was Jesus who promised,"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33).. This world can be a place of trials and tribulations, but as followers of Jesus Christ, we are secure. God has promised us peace, joy, and eternal life. And, of course, God keeps His promises!!!

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, if I become discouraged, help me to turn to You. If I grow weary, help me seek strength in You. When I face hard times, help me to seek Your will and trust in Your word. In every aspect of my life, empower me to trust in You so that my heart will be filled with faith and hope. I pray this in Jesus’ Name. Amen
