Your Place
Then the LORD said, "There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock."
Exodus 33:21
Can you imagine taking your child to an unknown destination and laying him on an altar as a sacrifice? That's what was happening in Abraham's life when we read, "On the third day Abraham looked up and saw the place in the distance" (Genesis 22:4). It's the last place your flesh wants to go because: a) it's the place where God exposes your true motives and values. God didn't want to kill Isaac, He just wanted to know, "Abraham, is there anything you value more than Me?" b) it's also the place where you discover the supply for your every need. Listen: "Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns" (Genesis 22:13). Notice the word "caught." When you get to where God wants you to be, you'll find that your provision is already in place. You can't lose it and nobody can take it from you! Now, if you think getting to this place is tough, try living there! When Paul writes, "Neither give place to the devil" (Ephesians 4:27), he's talking about the same place. When he tells the Ephesian Christians to put on the whole armor of God, he ends by saying, "having done all, to stand [in your place]" (Ephesians 6:13). You won't have to go out and fight the devil each day; he'll bring the battle to you. Why? To get you out of your place! God told Moses, "I will make all My goodness to pass before thee" (Exodus 33:19). If you're serious about enjoying God's goodness, get to your place - and stay there!
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me get to the "place" and help me see your provision there! In Jesus' Name, Amen

This is very truth, I like this devotion. The Lord is Challenge me and stengthened my faith. I love Him with all my heart and my soul.
