Our Unchanging God

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
Hebrews 13:8

Our world is in a state of constant change, but God does not change. So, when the world seems to be trembling beneath your feet, you can be comforted in the knowledge that your Heavenly Father is the rock that cannot be shaken. His Word promises, "I the LORD do not change” (Malachi 3:6).

Every day we will encounter a multitude of changes – some good, some not so good. And on occasion, all of us must endure life changing personal losses that can leave us breathless. When we do, our loving Heavenly Father stands ready to protect us, to comfort us, to guide us, and, in time, to heal us.

Are you facing difficult circumstances that have left you questioning God’s plan for your life? If so, please remember that God is far bigger than any problem you may be facing. So, instead of worrying about life’s challenges, put your faith in the Father (who loves you), in the Son (who is the same yesterday, today and forever) and in the Holy Spirit (your comforter and guide). Then, rest assured: It is precisely because your Savior does not change that you can face your challenges with courage for today and hope for tomorrow.

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, my world changes, but You are unchangeable. When I face challenges that leave me discouraged or fearful, help me to turn to You for strength and assurance. Empower me to trust in You in all areas of my life and seek Your wisdom and guidance. I pray this in Jesus’ Name. Amen
