Aim High

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13

How big are you willing to dream? Are you willing to entertain the possibility that God has big plans in store for you? Or are you convinced that your future is so dim that you’d better wear night goggles? Well, if you’re a developing disciple of Jesus Christ, you have an amazingly bright future ahead of you... here on earth and in heaven. That’s why you have every right to dream big.

Concentration camp survivor Corrie ten Boom observed, “Every experience God gives us, every person He brings into our lives, is the perfect preparation for the future that only He can see.” These words apply to you. It takes courage to dream big dreams. You will discover that courage when you do three things: accept the past, trust God to handle the future, and make the most of the time He has given you today.

Are you excited about the opportunities of today and thrilled by the possibilities of tomorrow? Do you confidently expect God to lead you to a place of abundance, peace and joy? If you trust God’s promises then you can believe that your future is intensely and eternally bright. Remember this: Nothing is too difficult for God, and no dreams are too big for Him – not even yours. So start living – and dreaming – accordingly.

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, Give me the courage to dream and the faithfulness to trust in Your perfect plan for my life. When I am worried, give me strength for today and hope for tomorrow. Empower my by your Holy Spirit to trust You and honor You with my thoughts, with my prayers, with my actions, and with my dreams. I pray this in Jesus’ Name. Amen
