Take Back Your Life - Part 2

We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith.
Romans 12:6

God created you to be different from others, not the same. Each of us plays a unique role. When we struggle to be like someone else, we lose ourselves in the process. God wants us to fit into His plan, not feel pressured to fit into somebody else’s. It’s all right to be different; different is okay! Find out what you’re good at, throw yourself into it wholeheartedly and you’ll discover your highest level of joy! When you try to do what somebody else is good at, you generally fail. Why? Because you’re not assigned to do what they’re doing or, at least, not in the way they’re doing it. But that doesn’t mean you’re not good at anything! Here’s an important key: focus on your potential, not your limitations! We all have limitations and we must accept them. That’s not bad, it’s just a fact. Actually, it’s wonderful to be different without feeling as if something is wrong with you. Secure people know that God loves them as they are and has a plan for them, so they’re not threatened by the abilities or accomplishments of others. Actually, they enjoy what other people can do, because they enjoy what they themselves do. Paul writes, ‘Let us not become competitive, envying, jealous of one another’ (Galatians 5:26 Amp). In the end, what matters most is being able to say, ‘I have brought You glory on earth by completing the work You gave Me to do’ (John 17:4). Any time you can say that - you’re a winner!

Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me take my life back so I can give it all to you. In Your Precious Name I pray, Amen
