Getting Results - Step 6

'Don’t let him know you are there' Ruth 3:3

Step 6: Learn to be patient and quiet: Ruth was finally ready to meet Boaz; she’d waited her entire life for this moment. But she had to learn to be quiet, because the person God planned to use to change her destiny was sleeping! It’s hard to be all keyed-up about something that nobody else is excited about; you want to get them excited too! But sometimes God says, ‘Be quiet and wait. Stop working to make things happen before their time! Stop trying to promote yourself! Stop struggling to build your reputation, because at the right time, I’ll make it all happen.’ God has a specific plan for you and He’ll bring it to pass in His time. He says, ‘‘I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it’ (Revelation 3:8). When you open the door, you’ll have to work to keep it open. But when God opens it, ‘no man can shut it’. You won’t have to fight for it; you won’t have to defend it. You’ll simply walk through it into your destiny. Listen: ‘For the vision is yet for an appointed time - it will surely come’’ (Habakkuk 2:3). Your biggest mistakes will always stem from impatience. God may not respond when you think He should, but His timing is always perfect. So get into place today and learn to be quiet. God has plans and blessings with your name on them, and no matter how many others want them, when the time’s right, He’ll give them to you.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me to be patient and to wait on you! I know what you have planned for me is more than I could ever imagine!  In Jesus’ Name, Amen
