Step 5: Get into your place: ‘positioning’ is so important. Ruth got into proper position by going down to the threshing floor, because that’s where Boaz (‘the blesser’) was. And you need to get into place too, if you want what God has for you. Satan will do everything in his power to make sure that doesn’t happen. He’ll keep you feeling down and depressed; that way you’ll never move toward your God-ordained destiny. Or else he’ll get you dressed up and keep you in the wrong place. It can be dangerous to stay too long where you’re overdressed. It’s good to love the people you’re with, but when God calls - you may have to change addresses. Furthermore, when you do make it to your final destination, you may feel like a misfit for a while. You may be uncomfortable and lonely, because when you leave familiar surroundings it takes time to adjust to new ones. Perhaps you know God called you to your present position, but you still feel out of place. You may even feel as though you’ve no right to be there. Dismiss those feelings; for whom God calls, He equips, and whom He equips, He uses. He has more potential invested in you than you could realize in a lifetime! Didn’t He tell you He would do a new thing? (Isaiah 43:19) Didn’t He say you’d be the head and not the tail? (Deuteronomy 28:13). Well, it’s starting to happen, so get into place and stay there!
