For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.  Ephesians 2:10 

 

You are unique. Priceless. The Lord will never make another you! You were created for a purpose that only you can fulfill, so never give up being who you are in order to be somebody else. Glean all you can, but duplicate nobody. Do you realize how intensely God loves you? Perhaps you’re disappointed because you’ve asked Him for something and He didn’t do what you thought He should have done. Before you feel unloved, take a moment and look back. Hasn’t He blessed you? Held you steady in the rough places? It’s been a long ride but He’s still holding you. Right? Don’t act as if your Heavenly Father doesn’t love you because He doesn’t always cater to you. Our society has spent so much time criticizing differences that it fails to see God in diversity. Difference doesn’t mean you’re less-than or more-than ‘just different!’ If God hadn’t made you as He did, you wouldn’t have been able to persevere as you have. Others couldn’t have handled what you’ve been through. Because of that, you’re uniquely equipped to be a blessing to those around you. Remember, people are blessed because you’re sincere and available - not perfect. Don’t let anybody manipulate you into forsaking your uniqueness. Those who try aren’t built for your life’s destiny and they can’t play your role. Aren’t you glad God prepared you for life, instead of preparing life for you? So, whether your life’s picture-perfect or not, rise up today and announce: ‘Ready or not, here I come!’
